Any lost identity card, passport or other official document that is found, is always brought in at the Lost & Found service of Brussels Airport.
Report your loss here, for us to be able to contact you when the item is found.
However, you will need provisional documents for travel. For this, you will need to report the loss to the police.
If you find a passport, hand it over to a member of the airport staff as soon as possible (e.g. at the information desk on departures, at security screening or to one of the Airport Crew ) so that they can give it to the Lost & Found service of Brussels Airport.
We store all official documents for maximum 1 month, afterwards they are transferred to the Federal Police and it is not possible to recover them.
Depending on the situation, lost baggage can be sent back by the airline or the handling agent.
