Work-to-rule action unions Federal Police

As a result of work-to-rule actions by the Federal Police unions, allow for longer waiting times at Brussels Airport up to and including 28 February.

On the one hand, punctuality actions are possible at passport control for departing and arriving passengers travelling outside of the Schengen area. Brussels Airport therefore advises those passengers to come to the airport 3 hours in advance. On the other hand, we cannot exclude actions on the access roads to the airport. Passengers travelling inside the Schengen area are advised to come 2 hours in advance.

Brussels Airport and its partners do everything possible to limit the impact of these actions on their passengers and they are deploying extra staff members to help and inform the passengers.

Brussels Airport also advises to regularly consult its website and/or its social media channels in order to keep abreast of the latest developments.
