Brussels Airport is preparing for the start of the summer holidays. About 811,000 passengers are expected in the first weekend and during the first week. That represents 3% more than in the same period last year. Red Devils fans need not miss out on any of their upcoming matches, as the Soccer World Cup Championship can be followed from just about anywhere at the airport.

The coming days will see the start of the holiday departures at Brussels Airport. Almost 240,000 passengers are expected in the first weekend alone. During the first week, it is anticipated that more than 570,000 passengers will pass through the busy airport. In total, at the start of the summer holidays, the airport expects 3% more passengers than in the first weekend and week of last year.

With the quarter-finals already in sight, fans of the World Cup needn’t miss out on any of the action from the Red Devils or other teams. All of the matches can be followed live on various screens throughout the airport. The Sports bar in Pier A also boasts a large screen where passengers can take a seat in the stands.

The world-class freestylers are not only there to display their vast repertoire of tricks, but they’ll also be on hand to teach interested passengers how to juggle a football!
