Request new or change an existing electricity consumption connection

DNB BA ensures that all companies can easily apply to request new or change an existing electricity consumption connection in order to best support you and easily enable you to connect to the network. Please bear in mind that a lead time of at least 6 weeks is expected for the realization of a low voltage new connection or the modification of an existing one. A longer lead time should be expected for medium voltage new connection or the modification of an existing one.

Furthermore, we inform you that all our connections are provided with a continuously read meter or AMR (automatic meter reading). Every 15 minutes, the meters read all the quantities that are necessary for the invoicing of energy consumption.

Request for termination of electricity connection

If you want to request a shutdown of an electricity connection, you must also communicate this via info@dnbba.be.

When terminating the connection, bear in mind the following:

• Request the cancellation at least 30 days in advance
• State the location of the electricity meter

Connection costs to the distribution grid

When you make a request for a connection or a termination of the connection to our distribution grid, you, as the applicant, are responsible for these costs.
