The electricity bill consists partly of the distribution and transmission costs. These costs are charged for the distribution of the electricity via the low and medium voltage lines. That is the route that electricity takes to your meter via our distribution grid.

Our tariffs are set according to the methodology approved by the VREG.

Our tariffs are reviewed annually and cover the following costs:

• Operating the distribution grid
• Maintaining, renewing and expanding the distribution grid
• Meter management and meter data management
• New connections and changes to connections
• Public service obligations

The costs for using the transmission grid are passed on transparently.
