At Brussels Airport we’re getting everything ready for the summer season. A pleasant, stress-free and above all safe passenger experience is our top priority. That is why the many sanitary measures that have applied at the airport for over a year, have even been strengthened.
Particular attention is given to passenger flow control to allow social distancing, even at busy times. One of the measures we took to achieve this, are the additional waiting areas we created by putting up big tents on the curb, in front of the departure hall. Here passengers can queue when the check-in area gets a bit crowded. At quiet moments, passengers will be allowed to enter the departure hall straightaway.
Several information displays will be put up in and around the tents to inform our passengers as well as possible. In addition, we have upped the number of Airport Crew to assist and guide passengers. As you can see, we make every effort to optimise our processes with full respect of the health and safety measures, while at the same time minimising the impact on our passengers.
