This year’s edition of the Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon will exceptionally take place in November following the announcement of the visit of Pope Francis to Brussels. Consequently, amateur and professional runners from around the world will gather on Sunday 3 November for this unique running race along the highlights of Brussels.
Last year, no fewer than 430 members of the airport community took up the challenge. Will we do even better this year?

A running event, open to all
The Brussels Marathon is open to all runners, from newbies to experienced runners. Participants can choose between 3 distances: the 7-km mini marathon, the half marathon (21.097 km), and of course the full marathon (42.195 km).
Renewed course
With a start and finish in the heart of Brussels, the new course of the marathon is a true gem.
The course starts at the Brouckère square and runs along highlights including the Grand-Place, the Annie Cordy tunnel, Koekelberg basilica, the Atomium, the castle of Laken, the Van Praet bridge, Montgomery, the Cinquantenaire Park an rue de la Loi to finish at the Place des Palais.

If your (airport) company registers through Brussels Airport Company, you and your colleagues can participate for free.
On D-day, everyone running in the colours of Brussels Airport will receive a Brussels Airport running shirt and will benefit from the facilities of our comfortable Brussels Airport Lounge.

Do you or your colleagues want to join us in the Brussels Airport Marathon? Then contact the SPOC of your company who is in charge of the group registration.
Haven't got a SPOC yet? Then send an e-mail to brusselsairportmarathon@brusselsairport.be by Wednesday 31 May at the latest, indicating the company name, the person who will act as the contact for your company (e-mail address and phone number) and an estimation of the number of runners.
