To facilitate the works at Brucargo Central and improve road safety and traffic flow in the area, a new circulation plan will take effect from Saturday 13 May.
The works for the Brucargo Central development are in full swing. From Saturday 13 May, several roads running through the construction site will be closed for demolition. There is a lot of construction site traffic, which, combined with the already busy lorry traffic in the zone, leads to unsafe situations for other road users.
A new circulation plan was therefore drawn up. One-way traffic for cars and trucks will be introduced around the Brucargo Central construction site to ensure a smooth traffic flow. Cyclists are allowed to ride in both directions.
The bus stops located within the construction site will disappear. The bus stops in question are: Machelen Cargo 706 in the direction of the terminal, Machelen Cargo Central in both directions and Machelen Cargo Post Noord.
A new bus stop will be provided at building 739.
