In April, Brussels Airport welcomed 1,957,165 passengers, 5.6% more than in April 2023.
The addition by United Airlines of a second daily flight to Newark, as well as the launch of several new routes, had a positive impact on passenger numbers. Nouvelair now operates from Brussels Airport to Monastir (Tunisia), Air Arabia to Tétouan (Morocco) and Brussels Airlines to Krakow (Poland).
In April, Brussels Airport was pleased to welcome two new airlines: Singapore Airlines, which flies 4 times a week to Singapore, and Wideroe, which flies twice a week to Bergen (Norway).
