On 29 March, the extended drop-off area will be opened for passengers.Work will continue to be carried out in this zone, but it is already easily accessible.
Separate access for through traffic
Through traffic will be largely separated from passengers making use of the drop-off. This should result in fewer queues for both airport staff and passengers.
Better flow and increased passenger comfort
Over the coming months, the area will be completely redesigned to provide better flow and improved safety for both pedestrians and other road users. The area will also be equipped with access control barriers, which will ensure a smoother traffic flow.
Apart from the drop-off area itself, the roads and the entire zone have been looked at again. The bus stop at level 0 has been redesigned and bus park P16 has already moved to another location. On 17 April, the taxi drop-off will also be relocated to the passenger drop-off area.
Maximum of 10 minutes
The drop-off is only for allowing departing passengers to get out. Parking for longer than 10 minutes is not permitted. Anyone planning a long goodbye or coming to collect arriving passengers is requested to park in P1, P2 or P3.
